Islamabad : Pakistan has announced full support for Iran’s nuclear programme and made it clear that Iran do have the right to have its missile programme on-going like any other country.
Prime minister , Shahbaz Sharif , gave a categorical statement on this issue while addressing a ceremony held here in honour of visiting Iranian president , Dr Masood Pezeshkian.
Prime minister , Shahbaz Sharif , said “There was no mention of Iran’s nuclear programme during Iran-US talks and for the same this topic did not appear in the MoU signed for peace in the Middle East (ME).

Pakistan’s statement supporting Iran’s nuclear programme is extraordinary important. Pakistan would like to see having nuclear programme for its civil use and at the same time keep its nuclear programme intact to defend its sovereignty in case of any threat like it had one in the recent months.
Iran and Pakistan are closely working these days. Iranian president , Dr Masood Pezeshkian , and prime minister , Shahbaz Sharif , exchanged stronger views in their joint media talk and other events held in Islamabad relating to the visit of Iranian leadership to Pakistan.
Iranian president ‘s remarks in Islamabad that Iran and Pakistan are neighbours only , but also close friends and brothers. He said “Iran and Pakistan like one soul , two hearts”.

Iranian president and his delegation received very, very warm welcome. Iranian delegation was given full fly past by Pakistani fighter jets on entering Pakistani air space and red carpet reception on arrival. For Iranian delegation , Pakistan had made entire Islamabad like a colourful city. The roads leading from Noor Khan base to president house were decorated with huge bill boards and big screens .
Iranian president ‘s visit to Pakistan is of very important nature . It will bring both brotherly countries closer and set a new dimensions for Iran -Pakistani future relations.
