Peshawar – Additional Inspector General (Addl. IG) Headquarters, Abbas Ahsan, accompanied by Addl. IG CTD Kp, visited the native village of Martyred ASI Ijaz Khattak in Garhu, Nizampur, to offer condolences to the bereaved family.District Police Officer Nowshera, Ahmed Shah, was also present during the visit.The officers offered Fateha for the departed soul and handed over a financial assistance check to the family of the martyr.ASI Ijaz Khattak embraced martyrdom during a police raid in the Hakeemabad Dheri Katti Khel area, within the jurisdiction of Nowshera Cantt Police Station.While attempting to apprehend miscreants, the suspects opened fire, resulting in the ASI’s ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.
Addl. IG Abbas Ahsan stated that the bravery and courage of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police remain their hallmark. Despite difficult circumstances and evolving challenges, the force stands as a bolstered wall against extremist elements.
The leadership emphasized that ASI Ijaz Khattak displayed exemplary bravery, and his sacrifice has raised the head of the Police Department with pride.His sacrifice is a beacon of light for the entire force, the officers remarked.They assured the grieving family that KP Police Department stands firmly with them and will not leave them alone in this difficult time.
Reaffirming the force’s resolve, the Addl. IG Headquarters vowed that the mission to eliminate terrorism would continue.He stated that every officer is ready to follow in the footsteps of the martyrs to ensure the rule of law and lasting peace.The sacrifices of our martyrs are the nation’s most valuable asset. It is because of these sacrifices that peace is maintained. We will not rest until terrorism is completely eradicated, said Addl. IG Headquarters Abbas Ahsan
