PESHAWAR: The Peshawar police on Wednesday arrested Ali Wazir MNA in Peshawar for targetting Pakistan’s armed forces in his address to Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) rally held in Karachi on December 6,2020.
The Karachi police had registered a case against MNA Ali Wazir for undermining Pakistan’s armed forces in his address to PDM Karachi rally.
Ali Wazir MNA from tribal area had been castigating the armed forces for long. He had also provoked the people of northern areas against the defence forces sometimes back . He was involved in instigating the tribal people sometimes ago that led to an attack on the army’s post in Wana.
Ali Wazir’s address to PDM Karachi rally was extremely provoking. The Karachi police had regustered a case against him. Ali Wazir had left Karachi for Wana soon after attending the Karachi rally. The Sindh Home Department had approached to KPK Home Department for arrest of Ali Wazir and handing over to it for imvestigation into the case.
The KPK police will handover Ali Wazir to Sindh police for imvestigation and submit the challan to the court of law against Ali Wazir.
