Peshawar – In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, cases of gastroenteritis and diarrhea have increased due to extreme heat and humidity.
25 thousands 996 infected people were reported in different hospitals of the province during one week, among which many people were also found to be suffering from acute hemorrhagic disease.
Health sources say that most of the cases of gastroenteritis and diarrhea have been reported from Peshawar, Swat, Charsadda, D.I Khan, where it is currently experiencing intense heat and loadshedding is also on the rise.
According to the report of different hospitals of the province last week, the highest number of infected cases have come from Peshawar, where 3 thousands 282 infected people were brought for treatment in hospitals and medical centers.
2 thousands 884 cases were reported in Swat, 1815 in Charsadda, 1698 in D.I Khan, 144 in Swabi, 128 in Lower Dir, 127 in Malakand, 120 in Bajaur, 1186 in Nowshera and 1060 in Mardan.
