This write-up is a result of my telephone conversation with Honourable Saleem, affectionately known as Saleem Cat, which took place on July 6th at 7:15 PM. After a three-month gap, I had the opportunity to speak with Saleem, who informed me about a remarkable act of kindness he experienced. An anonymous humanitarian, whose identity remains unknown, generously gifted Saleem a brand new phone. Saleem expresses his profound gratitude towards this compassionate individual.
I write this piece as a humble acknowledgement and tribute to the anonymous humanitarian who extended a helping hand to Saleem, a man dedicated to the welfare of the frequently mistreated animals found on the streets. We commend the anonymous hero for his kindness and empathy, as people like him continuously fuel the morally stagnant engine of Pakistani society. May you and your family be blessed by God, both in this life and the hereafter.

This picture was clicked on 9th May at 1100 hrs at Bagha Sardara in front of Wahid Tent House at Rawalpindi, where I was waiting on my camping stool for the shop to open so that I could collect my camping gear.
On spotting the man a street cat rushed to him, who fondly petted her before feeding her. No wonder a day earlier a similar street cat of a different colour came and kept brushing her body against my leg at the same spot, as her acknowledgement to human kindness, is all because of this man whose kindness won their trust for all humans .
I as asked him about his business and he replied, “just feeding cats after I lost my business of sweets manufacturing usurped by my brothers, whom I fed and wed at the cost of self- sacrifice, yet they betrayed me as soon as my mother died. My brothers preferred to live independently with their wives declaring me to be mentally deranged because their argument was that humans find it difficult to feed themselves while I worry and waste the money on feeding animals”.
He embarrassed me more as a Muslim and Human being when he told me on 14th April 2023 around 10 pm after that he finished his Taraveh prayers at Eid Gah during the holy month of Ramadan, on the busy Muree road that his Infinix Note 10 Note on which his personal number 03115372354 was operating was snatched by motorcyclists. The report of the incident was lodged the following day at the Police Station Eid Gah in Rawalpindi with someone by the name of Arsalan who initially investigated the matter.
He requested me if I could help which I considered a blessing to be trusted by a stranger to help him in a society where a brother betrays a brother, a human hunting a fellow human.
I would request my honourable family and friends who read me to kindly help this helpless human betrayed and looted by fellow humans him locate and recover his lost cell phone the only favour any human being can do as his service to humanity in an inhuman society where we live .
