ISLAMABAD : Power rates went further up here on Saturday when National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) approved Rs 3.10 per unit in its rates.
The power rates have already gone out of digestive level of the people . Saturday’s increase in power rates is going to add to financial woes of the people . The new increase in power rates have been criticized by the opposition parties.
Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PMLN ), senior vice president , Maryam Nawaz , condemned Saturday’s increase in power rates and said Imran Khan, government has made lives of the people miserable with increase in power rates on almost daily.
