ISLAMABAD : July 19,2023: Much -trumpeted statement of Azam Khan , principal secretary to Imran Khan, is going to add more fuss to already publicized one-sided play covering ouster of the Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) chief .
There is no doubt that Imran Khan had publicized cipher , a top secret document, and made Pakistan-US relations worse for his personal political glorification ,but why Pakistan’s decision-makers took one and half years to understand that publicising of cipher was a breach of the Secret Act and a serious crime. Were the players of this stage drama waiting for conversion of Azam Khan into a ‘witness’ to add a case of cipher in the list of already filed cases against Imran Khan ?. Another big question in this drama is why then ambassador to the US and now Foreign Secretary , Dr Majeed, looked innocent to Mr Sanaullah?.
Rana Sanaullah and other background actors of cipher drama should have understanding that the statement of a person who is under illegal detention ,though recorded by the judicial magistrate, is mere a bullshit and has no legal and otherwise value.
Rana Sanaullah and other characters of Shahbaz Sharif’s era and their true masters were never interested in punishing Imran Khan for his crimes including violation of the Secret Act by unfolding this top secret document cipher in the public.
All the press conferences and long list of the cases registered against Imran Khan in PDM regime were just a time killing tactic. Shahbaz Sharif and Co perhaps lacks sense to understand that the registration of countless cases against Imran Khan is proving counter productive and all efforts to dump PTI chief have made no gain for PDM and its architects.
There is no argument that Imran Khan is a lier of his own kind. He is building up his case for public consumption purely on pack of lies, but his lies are driving the people who want to see him in power no matter he did anything good for them when he was in the power for around four years or not.
But one thing is for sure that the people of this country do not trust in Shahbaz Sharif and Co. Even after having failed in four -year rule , the people of Pakistan prefer matchless lier Imran Khan over entire PDM leadership and they can display their disliking for PDM which took the corruption in Pakistan to next level in just one and half years ,besides making the people lives miserable.
PDM does not have even a single achievement in their record except leaving behind classic tales of corruption. PDM chief ‘s close relative and Governor KPK ‘s tails of corruption are going to haunt it in the days to come.
