Beijing says ready to work with Pakistan

Boris Johnson, MBS also greet Shahbaz Sharif

ISLAMABAD : As the world leaders’ messages to newly elected, prime minister , Mian Shahbaz Sharif, on assuming the office, are continuing to pour in, China has reiterated its commitment to work with Pakistan for further cementing bilateral ties and boost up regional development as well as expedite work on China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
Beijing has extended good wishes to Mr Shahbaz Sharif on assuming the office of the prime minister of Pakistan .
The Chinese Foreign ministry spokesman on Wednesday said China is a partner of Pakistan for long term development in the region and it was willing to work with the new government of Pakistan.
Prime minister , Shahbaz Sharif , had held a meeting with Chinese ambassador to Pakistan the other day and expressed his great desire to work with China for taking bilateral ties between Beijing and Islamabad to new highs.
Chinese leadership while congratulating Mian Shahbaz Sharif on becoming the prime minister said that Beijing has noted the statement of prime minister of Pakistan wherein he has desired to work with China for further strengthening bilateral ties between the two countries .
The statement of the Chinese Foreign ministry spokesman said Pakistan remains a trusted friend and partner and China was willing to work with new government of Pakistan to expedite work on CPEC project.
With change of regime, Pakistan’s new government is making every possible effort to make good relations with important counties and China is on top in its list.
New prime minister has also given clear message to the United States and Europe that Pakistan believes in mutual respect and it would like to have cordial relations with the US and Europe . Shahbaz Sharif ‘s good gesture has received positive response from the globe. Many important countries including India, China, Russia, United Kingdom , Saudi Arabia have greeted Mian Shahbaz Sharif on assuming the office of the prime minister of Pakistan.
UK prime minister , Boris Johnson , also greeted Shahbaz Sharif for assuming the office of the prime minister of Pakistan. He said Pakistan and UK have cordial relations and his country was interested in working with Pakistan in the field of mutual interest. According to Saudi Press Council , Saudi Crown Prince, Mohamamd Bin Salman also greeted Shahbaz Sharif for assuming the office of the prime minister of Pakistan.
