Islamabad : May 15, 2024;: The prices of petroleum products have seen a decreasing trend in the international market during the last fortnight. The Oil & Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has worked out the consumer prices, based on the price variations in the international market. The prices of Motor Spirit & HSD for the next fortnight, starting from 16th May, 2024, are accordingly being lowered as follows:
As per the notification the nee prices of the petroleum products will remain effective for two weeks. With a cut of Rs 15.39 , MS petrol price reduced from Rs 288.49 to Rs 273.10. High speed diesel prices reduced by Rs 7.88 which dripped its rates from Rs 281.96 to Rs 274.08 per liter.
The substantial reduction in the prices of petroleum products is going to give big relief to the commuters , besides bringing down inflation . High inflation is a major problem of Pakistan and its making difficult for a major percentage of Pakistani population to make two end .
