ISLAMABAD: After more than three years, former Interior minister and senior leader of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) Chaufhary Nisar Ali Khan, is going to take oath of the Punjab Assembly.
Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan had won a Punjab assembly seat in 2018 elections and for some mysterious reasons he did not take its oath. Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan is iknown for such mysterious moves in his political carear spanning over 35 years.
Now after more than three years of the last general elections, Chaudhary Nisar issued a statement to media , confirming his oath taking as Punjab assembly member on Monday next.
His move for oath taking has generated more mystery as to what allured him to change his mind when assembly has already completed more than half of its tenure.
To snub rumours and guesswork, Chauhary Nisar Ali Khan said in his statement on Sunday, saying he decided to take oath of provincial assembly on May 24, 2021 for keeping his political contacts in his constituency active. His statement seems to weak to convince his political aides and other every Tom and Jarry. His statement of having no change in political thinking and stance does makes some sense. His late entry in parliamentry politics can undoubtedly bring some new news to the people in coming days
