Politics has never been my forte, and in our part of the world, politics is considered synonymous with negativity. However, I accompanied the young man at his request, as his elder, given our long family relations.
Nevertheless, it is a fact that the very politics in our part of the world has produced people like Allama Mashriqi, Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan, Zamarud Khan, and Rana Mashood Ahmed Khan, who have a mission to serve humanity through politics, despite their political affiliation and identity, which is indeed a necessary evil, like one’s name, social status, or official appointment, through which society recognises one.
Nawabzada Wahab Khan has an uphill task ahead, especially in his strife-torn hometown of Tank and the Division of D.I. Khan, where a day does not pass without hearing bad news. In this environment of hate and fear, I wonder how this young notable will deliver, yet I am optimistic that he will go all out for his beloved Pakistan and, above all, political considerations, to serve the youth of his area without any discrimination, whether they are from PTI, JUI, PPP, or PML.
To be a Pakistani should be enough to qualify anyone for this initiative in bringing peace to the lives of youth who are distressed by insecurity, both in their lives and geography. Long Live Pakistan .
