Islamabad : Deputy Prime Minster/Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Wednesday received member of the CPC Politburo and Minister for Foreign Affairs of China, H.E. Wang Yi here. Mr. Wang Yi is visiting Pakistan to co-chair with DPM/FM the 6th round of Foreign Ministers’ Strategic Dialogue being held on 21 August 2025.
Prior to coming to Pakistan , Chinese Foreign minister Mr Wang Yi visited new Delhi. During the visit to New Delhi , Mr Wang Yi met with top Indian leadership including prime minister Modi .
Pakistan definitely would be looking on Mr Wang Yi ‘s visit to India . India is almost in isolation globally . Its ties with US have deteriorated to a very alarming level.
Mr Wang Yi’s three-day visit to Pakistan soon after his New Delhi’s visit is of extra ordinary significance. He will be attending trilateral strategic dialogue in Islamabad , besides having crucial meetings with top Pakistani leadership.
