Swabi – In the wake of a devastating cloud burst in Gadoon Dalori, District Swabi, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, several houses collapsed, causing severe destruction. According to local reports, many residents were trapped under the rubble, while Rescue 1122 teams managed to recover the bodies of 11 victims during an extensive search and rescue operation. More than 15 people are still reported missing.
Rescue 1122 teams from Swabi, Mardan, Nowshera, and Haripur reached the affected area and jointly launched large-scale relief efforts. Director General Rescue 1122 Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Tayyab Abdullah, along with the Director Finance & Administration, personally supervised the operation, while the District Emergency Officer led the rescue mission on the ground.
According to Rescue 1122 officials, over 90 personnel are actively engaged in the ongoing search and rescue mission. The operation includes 13 ambulances, 3 disaster response vehicles, a water bowser, 3 pickups, 2 water rescue units, and a recovery vehicle. Authorities stated that relief operations will continue day and night until the mission is completed.

Meanwhile, the provincial administration has ordered the closure of educational institutions in the upper districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa due to the risk of further heavy cloud bursting and possible flooding.
