PTI chief said he can not even think of insulting judiciary.

Imran Khan had made highly contemptuous remarks in a public rally against a female judge and senior police officials while giving reaction over arrest of Shahbaz Gill in sedition case. His rant against the judge and senior officials of the Islamabad police had invited a case of contempt of court against him.

The Islamabad High Court (IHC) while taking notice of Imran Khan’s contemptuous remarks issued him notice in contempt case. Although Imran Khan and his party leaders who are considered close to him tried to downplay Imran Khan’s controversial remarks by using different tactics, but seeing the mood of the judges who are hearing the case PTI had submitted a written reply to the court ahead of resumption of the hearing of the case to avoid any risk of start of proceedings against Imran Khan that may end- up at his disqualification.

The court is taking up the case tomorrow. It is still not clear if the court will accept Imran Khan’s explanation and drop the contempt case against him or not.
Imran Khan is entering into a number of legal cases due to his fiery speeches. His majority of legal difficulties are self –created. The contempt case, which seemed very serious one against him as it can end-up at his disqualification for a term of at least five years, besides putting him in jail for at least three to six months jail term is one of them.

Imran Khan is currently facing over one dozen cases and most of them are his self- created. He provides golden opportunities to the government with his slippery language for keep on adding the legal cases against him.
Imran Khan is also expert in persuading his close aides to use derogatory language against the state institutions like his did in the case of Shahbaz Gill, his chief security officer. Interestingly, Imran Khan does not bother much for his close aides if one is arrested for accomplishing his agenda of defaming state institutions. Shahbaz Gill, who was considered his eyes and ears, is its classic example.

Imran Khan did create fuss in the public over arrest of Shahbaz Gill soon after his arrest in sedition case, but slowly and gradually he is going oblivious to the issue. He may not even speak much if Shahbaz Gill is formally indicted or awarded long term in the sedition case.
