ISLAMABAD: February 27,2023: A local district and session court on Monday granted 3-day physical remand of Lt. General (R), Amjad Shoab , in a case of inciting the public against the state institutions.
Lt. General , Amjad Shoab , was arrested in the case by Islamabad police the other day. He has been charged of creating disharmony among the public , government and opposition and inciting the public against the state institutions to create hattered among the masses.
The case against Lt General (R) Amjad Shoab has been registered for targeting the state institutions in different TV shows for some probably vested interests .
.Lt General Amjad Shoab and some other retired army officers are levelling extremely dangerous charges against top officials of the army institution. Retired general Amjad Shoab’s views at times at different TV channels fall under anti state act.
Lt General (R) Amjad Shoab was taken into custody by Islamabad police on Sunday for his anti state views given at a TV show recently.
The local court approved physical remand of the accused for 3 days and handed him to the police for investigation.
The court ordered the police to produce the accused again on completion of the physical remand.
Arrest if retired general Amjad Shoab is a test case and it has a clear message for those so called experts and U tuners who are not differentiating between the politic and the state.
