COVID-19: Pakistan comes under strict restrictions again

Educational institutions, hotels closed, no public transport till Sepember 11

ISLAMBAD: On the directions of the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), the government has imposed harsh restrictions in Punjab,partially in Khyber Pukhtunkhaw (KPK) and Islamabad for a week . The hotels banned to cater indoor and outdoor dinning. The public transport will remain off the road from September 6 to September 11, 2021.

Islamabad management re-imposed Corona related restrictions in the federal capital to avoid surge of COVID-19.
Deputy Commissioner Islamabad, Hamza Shafqaat, issued the orders to close down schools and all other educational institutions in the federal capital from September 6, 2021 for a week here on Friday.
The public transport will also remain off the road in the Punjab, federal capital and some parts of KPK during the notified period of restrictions (September 6 to September 11, 2021.
The sudden rise in COVID-19 cases is the sole reason of the re-imposition of restrictions in the Punjab, some districts of KPK and federal capital.
Since the pandemic is fast growing in the Punjab, KPK and federal capital the government has closed down educational institutions and meanwhile the public transport will remain off the road.
