ISLAMABAD : Feb 20, 2023: In what appears a deliberate attempt to promote immorality among young students, Comsats University Islamabad (CUI) included a highly immoral and objectionable question in a quiz of English composition paper put to its students of Bachelor in Electrical Engineering (BEE) program.
The quiz asked by the lecturer seemed a deliberate attempt on his part to promote incest among the young students of CUI.
In the objectionable question , the students were asked to write an article having 300 worlds in four paras on the objectionable topic.
The students were shocked to come across such an objectionable question in the quiz and they showed abrupt reaction to it during the exam.
The matter caught attention of the university administration, which claims to have terminated the lecturer’s services after he was found guilty of asking such a highly immoral and objectionable question .
The matter also got attention of the ministry of Science and Technology which reportedly , has sought report from UCI on the issue.
The matter has exposed weaknesses in the exams system of UCI.
It has also raised serious questions on the credibility of the university and a big worry for the parents who pay huge fees to UCI with a hope that it would impart good quality education to their young ones.
One wonders as if UCI has no system to check the question papers before putting them to the students in the examination halls.
The Rector of UCI needs to be quiz for such a loose examination system of UCI.
