Islamabad : Pakistan on Saturday said it has arrested Daesh’s terrorist who was mastermind of Islamabad suicide attack along with 6 other suspects who facilitated the heinous act of attacking Namaziz” during Jumma prayer in an Immambargah in downtown of the Federal capital Islamabad.
The suicide bomber had targeted the Immambargah situated in Turlai , a rural area of Islamabad , for terrorism which claimed 32 “Namazis” lives, besides injuring dozen others when they were offering Jumma prayer in the Immambargah.
Pakistan’s law enforcing agencies (LEAs) had launched massive investigations into the suicide attack within hours from the incident. On the basis of initial reports , LEAs had arrested 7 suspects including the mastermind of the attack who reportedly is an Afghan and linked to Daesh.
Pakistan ‘s Interior minister, Mohsin Naqvi) announced arrest of the mastermind of Friday’s suicide bombing in Islamabad and six other suspects during a press conference. He said the suicide bomber was a Pakistani national ,but he was trained by Daesh in Afghanistan. Mohsin Naqvi added Daesh ‘s terrorist and mastermind of Islamabad was now in custody of LEAs and being investigated to reach out to other facilitators and perpetrators of Islamabad bombing.
He also claimed that 21 terror organisations including Daesh were operating against Pakistan from Afghanistan. According to Pakistan ‘s Interior minister , India was funding Afghanistan based terror organisations to carry out terrorist activities in Pakistan. He said after humiliating defeat in May last year , India has increased funding for Afghanistan-based terrorists three times.
He rejected clarifications of India and Afghanistan , claiming havingno role in Islamabad bombing and said Pakistan has undeniable evidences of involvement of New Delhi and Kabul in terrorist activities being carried out in Pakistan.
It may be noted that India and Afghanistan had condemned Friday’s suicide bombing in Islamabad , but investigations into the incident contradict the condemnation statements of both New Delhi and Kabul.
Meanwhile , UK and Russia have also condemned Friday’s suicide bombing in Islamabad.
