It is so unfortunate that we are heading into a dangerous direction with no sanity in sight. Imran Khan’s desperation and his public declaration to have become more” Dangerous”, has left the state with little choice but use all available options block his appearance that all the more complicates the plot by making them a party into the ongoing power game with no real players but puppets whose untimely return to power through back door then real street power put to test through fair elections makes the whole drama unfold into a dangerous political saga without any realisation in any quarter .
Apprehension of Shabaz Gill, is another unwise move and sad part of the ongoing political saga I wonder if those today in the power game understands, the serious repercussions of such political follies that will remain permanently etched in the memories of his small children to whom their father is a role model and their hero, in whose presence, he broke into tears during their meeting at jail. I wonder if we understand what we continue to gift our future generations just to justify what is not justifiable through debate and dialogue that we try to win through violence and coercion .
Sadly, as a nation we are easily power blinded by the very power, once at our disposal unfortunately drives us into unfounded exultation of being justified what is not justifiably legally, morally and politically. Times have changed and so mindset of the nation, one wrong move and there will be a volcanic eruption of civil unrest that is fastly towards political suicide.
We better be not fooled to be jubilant and celebrate the IMF bailout to be end of our sufferings when our salvation lies in sorting out our own problems and political differences then pouncing over the loaf of a borrowed bread that either we or our children will have to return as our own faith prefers the hand that gives then the one that accepts and we must be ashamed to be at the receiving end despite a proud nation of 220 million surviving all oppression,, suppression and repression in one or another form .
Imran’s likely arrest or disqualification engineered by the state is its last option and if exercised will lead us into yet another serious political crisis that may promise temporary respite but will serve as a lull before the storm that neither the country nor the nation could afford given our poor economic health of having lived beyond our means, but to live beyond our senses will be the worst that one could expect from those presently on the power chess board whether pawns or power hungry perverts. No one seems to be backing out with their horns locked into the deadly political game driven by self interest. Those sincere to safeguard the country’s interests are the ones to ensure to take both the nation and the country into early elections and end the political instability the earlier the better.
