KARACHI: October 11, 2022: In a major development and relief to Ume Rubab , known as daughter of Sindh , Sindh High Court (SHC) has directed to the trial court to indict the culprits involved in heinous triple murder of Ume Rubab’s family elders.
SHC issued orders in the case on Tuesday and directed to the trial court to complete the hearing into the case in three months.
Ume Rubab is fighting for justice since 2018 when local Sardars including Sindh assembly member, Sardar Khan Chandio and others, had killed the elders of family including her father, Mukhtar Chandio ,grandfather, Karamullah Chandio and uncle, Kabil Chandio, over personal enmity outside their home in Dadu. A trial court in Dadu is hearing the case.
After assassination of family elders, Ume Rubab stood- up against these heinous murders and challenged the powerful and politically powerful culprits at every level.
For her matchless courage and standing against powerful and deadly Sardars, Ume Rubab has earned the title of Daughter of Sindh. She is approaching to the victims across Sindh and other parts of Pakistan against any injustice and giving them courage to standup against the culprits no matter how deadly or powerful they may be.
Ume Rubab’s determination foiled every attempt of influential culprits to stop her from getting justice from the court of law and get the culprits punished for their crime.
The culprits used every tactic like delaying the proceedings in the court of law and tried to discourage Ume Rubab through delays and threats, but she showed matchless courage to keep fighting for justice to those family elders whom the culprits killed just for establishing their evil popularity in the area.
SHC’s Tuesday’s orders are a big win for Ume Rubab as it shows a light at the end of the tunnel for her to get justice for killing of her family elders after untiring efforts spanning over more than four years.
Commenting on the SHC orders of Tuesday, Ume Rubab , said she was waiting for this movement when the court will complete the hearing in the case and give exemplary punishment to the culprits . Ume Rubab said ‘ I have full confidence in God that one day she would see the culprits punhished by the court of law”.
