SHIKARPUR: On the intervention of Supreme Court of Pakistan (SCP), Sukkur police on Thursday arrested an accused Javed Chandio , in triple murder case. However, main accused of the case is still at large.
SCP had heared the case of triple murder in Sindh and taken notice of police using delay tactics in arrest of the accused who hail from sardars .
Ume Rubab , the complainant of the case had urged the SCP to provide her justice.
Umr Rubab had issued a statement the other day wherein she said “I am satisfied with the judiciary and hope apex court will take action to taķe the case of killing of three elders of her family to logical end provide her justice without any discrimination. She alleged the leadership of Pakistan People’s Party did not come to contact with her which shows it stands with the killers”.
Ume Rubab’s father, grandfather and uncle were allegedly shot dead by a few armed assailants in Mehar Taluka of Dadu next to the DSP Office Mehar, a few years ago,
Ms. Ume Rubab Chandio hoped the apex court would not disappoint the daughter of Sindh, because her father, uncle, and grandfather were shot dead by Sardars of the community,.
According to Ms Rubab the apex court personally called the Inspector General of Sindh Police, because former DIG Hyderabad had confirmed before the court that police was unable to arrest the killers because they were influential Sardars and Landlords and the ruling influential were supporting them.
Ms. Ume Rubab Chandio declared she would not sit at home without getting justice, because her father, uncle, and grandfather were shot dead at the same time and same day which was sheer injustice with her family.
Ms. Ume Rubab said she always believed that PPP was the party of martyrs and she too was heir of martyrs and when she did not get justice then decided to record her protest in front of Mazar of Shaheed Mohatarma Benazir Bhutto in New Dero, but she was not allowed to enter the premises of martyrs.
She was optimistic that the killers of hier parents/elders will go through punishment she appreciated the efforts of print and electronic media of Sindh to raise the voice for justice in the case.
