Lahore: On the second day, filled with noteworthy activities and high-profile visits, the Pakistan Association of Automotive Parts and Accessories Manufacturers (PAAPAM) continued its largest auto parts expo.
Rana Tanveer Hussain, the Federal Minister for Industries and Production, was the chief guest and led PAAPAM officials on a tour of the exhibition halls to kick off the day’s events. Global and local exhibitors showcased state-of-the-art automotive components and innovations here.
Dignitaries and guests had access to private industrial tours during the day, which included stops at two of Pakistan’s leading car parts manufacturers, ST Engineering and Thermosole, located at Sundar Industrial Estate.
These trips provided firsthand knowledge of the cutting-edge procedures and technologies propelling Pakistan’s automotive industry forward.
“PAPS [Pakistan Auto Show] provides a vital platform to advance the automotive sector,” said Rana Tanveer Hussain, who lauded PAAPAM’s contribution in his speech. This incident is an ideal instance of our industry’s tenacity, inventiveness, and growth potential.
Experts from the industry gathered for a specialized conference to talk about the future of the automotive industry. Syed Hamid Ali, Additional Secretary of Commerce, was the honored guest. Technological developments, localization tactics, and investment potential in the production of automobile parts were among the main subjects.
“The strong participation from both domestic and foreign exhibitors highlights the potential within Pakistan’s automotive industry,” said Rehan Riaz, the PAPS 2024 convener. We can showcase creative solutions at events like PAPS while fortifying our relationships with international partners.
PAAPAM held an elegant dinner in the evening. Following an awards ceremony to thank the sponsors and organizers for their contributions, there was a lively musical performance during the evening’s “Gala Night.”
