Peshawar – A deadly explosion rocked the Bajaur district on Wednesday, claiming the lives of four individuals, including senior government Officers. Among the deceased are Nawagai Assistant Commissioner Faisal Ismail, Tehsildar Wakeel Khan, Inspector Noor Hukum, and a passerby, whose identity has yet to be confirmed.
According to initial reports, the blast was a targeted attack on the district administration, raising serious concerns over the deteriorating security situation in the region.

Security experts and local authorities have described the situation as extremely volatile, urging the federal and provincial governments to take immediate and decisive action to restore peace and ensure the safety of government officials and civilians in the area.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack so far. However, the nature of the assault has led officials to believe it may be the work of local or cross-border militant groups who have recently intensified their activities in the region.
Further investigations are underway, and a high-level security meeting has been convened to assess the situation and devise a counter-strategy to prevent such incidents in the future.
