” Do not behave as Indian tool ” , Pakistan suggests to ICC

PCB chief advices ICC to treat Bangladesh on India --Pakistan principle

Lahore : Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chief , Mohsin Naqvi, on Saturday has given an unambiguous message to the International Cricket Council (ICC) for possible pull out of T20 world Cup 2026 if it keeps on doing injustice to Bangladesh over latter’s concerns to play T20 World Cup 2026 matches in India.

Although , he did not make a final judgement on the issue in open world , but what he told to a press conference in Lahore , was more than a clear message to the ICC that its injustice to Bangladesh is unacceptable. His assertions that Pakistan has already an alternate plan in the case it decides to pull out of T20 World Cup 2026 must be enough for ICC to understand what price it could play by exiting Bangladesh from the tournament in question. Mr Mohsin gave a big message to ICC on the occasion that it should follow the approach of India-Pakistan case and treat Bangladesh ‘s case in the context of the similiar controversy.

Not far ago , ICC had given an option to India to play at a neutral venue when it had refused to send its team to play T20 world Cup matches in Pakistan.
Pakistan’s demand that ICC should not close doors of T20 World Cup 2026 on Bangladesh has big justification . Since ICC has set up precedent in the case of India and Pakistan controversy how can it deny the same principle in the case of Bangladesh?.

PCB chief also demanded of ICC not to follow different rules for the different countries.Mr Mohsin told a questioner that PCB has taken all aspects of the Bangladesh’ s demand to shift its all matches of T20 World Cup 2026 to a neutral value into consideration and left the case for the prime minister to decide the issue of sending team Pakistan to India to play T20 World Cup 2026.

ICC has already damaged cricket game by awarding undue favours to India since Indian guy took it over , it should not apply the same Indian-sponsored approach any more particularly in the case to Bangladesh as any such development can hurt cricket game beyond repair.
