Lahore (Newsman): Giving a new twist to cricket rivalry , India has reportedly denied to allow its cricket team to travel to Pakistan for the Champion Trophy to be played in Pakistan early next year.
After Pakistan’s unconditional support to India in the last ICC elections and recent visit of India’s Foreign minister to Islamabad for attending Shanghai Conference 2024 last month ,
Pakistan was expecting better decision from Modi government regarding sending Rohat Sharma XI to play Champion Trophy in Pakistan early next year.
The reported denial of India to send its cricket team to Pakistan next year is a disappointing development not only for Islamabad but also for cricket lovers.

Pakistan must take a firm stance regarding Indian non-participation in the Champion Trophy 2025 and come up with a clear position to tell New Delhi that enough is enough.
Pakistan should also plead a strong case against India in this regard in any possible ICC huddle on the controversy. Pakistan should not agree on any hybrid model for playing any match of the Champion Trophy 2025 with India at some neutral venues.
