“Down with India”; Pakistan stand firm with Kashmir

The Whole Pakistani nation along with Kashmiris on both sides of the Line of Control and the world over observed Black Day on Thrustday (October 27, 2022) to convey to the international community that they completely reject India’s illegal occupation of held Kashmir.

It was on this day in 1947 when Indian troops invaded Jammu and Kashmir and subjugated it in blatant violation of partition plan of the subcontinent and against the will and aspirations of Kashmiris.

This year’s day is of special significance as it is being observed in the backdrop of illegal and unilateral step of India to annex Kashmir on 5th of August.

The day highlights the 75 years of struggle of Kashmiris in their quest to right to self-determination.

The current coalition government is raising its voice on every forum for the freedom of Kashmir, which is making the international community realize that peace in South Asia will remain a dream until the Kashmir issue is resolved.

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif stressing for the solution of Jammu and Kashmir dispute through the implementation of relevant UN Security Council resolutions has reiterated that Pakistan will always stand by the Kashmiris, no matter what the cost.

“The only solution to the Jammu and Kashmir dispute lies in ensuring that the Kashmiris are allowed to exercise their right of self-determination, through the democratic process of holding a UN-mandated free and impartial plebiscite, as espoused in the relevant UNSC resolutions and as per the wishes of Kashmiri people,” he said in his message on the occasion of `Kashmir Black Day’ observed every year on October 27.

The prime minister said, “My message to all Kashmiri brothers and sisters on this sombre occasion is simple: Pakistan will always stand by you, no matter what the cost. We are your voice to the world. Our support and solidarity is abiding. We will not rest until you secure your legitimate right to self-determination. In Sha Allah, that day is not far away!”

He said, “Today, with a heavy heart, we mark yet another Kashmir Black Day. On 27th October 1947, seventy-five years ago, India forcibly landed its troops in the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu & Kashmir (IIOJK) and she continues to forcibly and illegally occupy this territory ever since.”

“To perpetuate its forcible occupation of the IIOJK, India has amassed more than 900,000 armed troops in the territory.

Torture, illegal detentions, implication in fictitious cases, indiscriminate use of force under the impunity of draconian laws and systemized campaigns to rob the Kashmiris of their distinct cultural and religious identities mark the reality of India’s brutal occupation of the occupied territory,” he added.

The prime minister said that the situation had further worsened since India’s illegal and unilateral revocation of the special status of IIOJK on 5th August 2019, adding, around 690 extra-judicial killings of innocent Kashmiris have taken place at the hands of the Indian occupation forces in the last three years.

“Prominent Hurriyat leaders have been detained illegally or placed under house arrest,” he mentioned.

The prime minister further said that India was also making reprehensible attempts at bringing about demographic changes in IIOJK by issuing fake domiciles, changing property laws, gerrymandering electoral districts, creating new seats for Hindu-dominated regions in the state legislature, and adding non-Kashmiri residents to the electoral rolls.
Despite all odds, the valiant Kashmiris continued to defy the Indian bayonets, by rendering invaluable sacrifices, and refusing to accept subjugation as their fate, he added.

The prime minister said that “History is witness to the fact that solemn commitments made by the Government of India to the people of the IIOJK, to Pakistan, and to the international community to abide by and implement the relevant Security Council resolutions have been disowned by the occupying powers.”

“History is also witness [to the fact] that India acted insincerely all along, and completely reneged on these solemn commitments,” he added.

The prime minister said that the Jammu and Kashmir dispute had been on the United Nations’ agenda for over seven and a half decades.

He said that Pakistan had remained faithful to its commitments to the Kashmiris and had also consistently raised its voice on the continuing grave human rights violations in IIOJK.

“It has also consistently called upon the international community to assume its role and responsibility with regards to IIOJK, raising our voice against the ongoing Indian atrocities in the occupied territory and demanding an immediate reversal of the Indian government’s illegal and unilateral actions of 5th August 2019,” he added.

The prime minister said that Pakistan’s rock-solid support to the Kashmir cause remained as steadfast as ever, adding, “Our greatest asset is the national consensus on this core issue. In fact, love for Kashmir and allegiance to this just cause remains an element of fact in every stratum of our society.”
“This was the reason our beloved Quaid referred to Kashmir as Pakistan’s ‘Jugular vein’. It runs in our blood,” he stressed.

People observed October 27 as a black day to express sympathy with the Kashmiri brothers in the homeland against Indian atrocities, because the Kashmiri people have been struggling for their right to self-determination while facing Indian oppression for a long time. The struggle of Kashmiri’s will surely bring color one day, this is the day from which their slavery, helplessness, and helplessness started which is still going on.
Muslims of Occupied Kashmir observe this day as “Black Day” to show the ugly and bloodthirsty face of India to the world. It is the day when India has violated all moral boundaries and international norms. The state of Jammu and Kashmir was illegally occupied by keeping a niche. This process based on oppression and oppression continues even after a long time.
India is continuing state terrorism through its forces to maintain its illegitimate rule over Occupied Kashmir. Let’s take a look at the background of that day, what were the conditions at that time. On June 3, 1947, when the partition formula of India was approved, the 562 states of the subcontinent were left free to do what their people wanted in light of their geographical and economic realities. Accede to India or Pakistan accordingly.
The population of the state of Jammu and Kashmir consists of 80% Muslims, it shares 600 miles of borders with West Pakistan. The only railway line of the state passes through Sialkot. All the import and export routes of Kashmir were also connected to Pakistan.
In view of all these facts, the accession of the state of Jammu and Kashmir to Pakistan was a natural process, but the heartfelt intentions of Maharaja Hari Singh and the Congress leaders were completely against this decision. In order to implement these nefarious ambitions, he created a web of conspiracies in the trap of which the residents of the occupied state are hanging to this day. The lava of hatred boiled over. Kashmiris were already against the oppressive rule of the Maharaja.
A public uprising broke out in Gilgit-Baltistan and present-day Azad Kashmir. The Hurriyats advanced rapidly and reached Baramulla near Srinagar. The Maharaja ran away and reached Jammu with his property. Where he was seduced by the Congress leaders, he requested India to send troops and announced accession, which was totally against the principles of partition and independence.
So, on October 27, 1947, two months after the independence of the subcontinent, India landed its army at Srinagar airport. The whole world knows the fact of the criminal aggression by which India seized Kashmir. Dust in the eyes of the international community. promised a free, fair and unbiased plebiscite, which has not been fulfilSince October 27, 1947, millions of Indian soldiers have illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. We stand with our Kashmiri brothers at every step in their struggle for freedom. By raising the issue of Kashmir on the international forums, it was made clear that we stand with the Kashmiri brothers, we will not leave the Kashmiris alone.led even after 75 years. On October 27, 1947, as the Indian forces invaded Kashmir and occupied it, they crushed the right of self-determination of the people there and forcibly made them slaves of India. The market of cruelty and violence heated up there that despite the passage of seven decades, 7 lakh Indian forces in Kashmir still could not win the hearts of Kashmiris. Kashmiris are still demanding their right to self-determination with the spirit of 1947. Which has been promised by the United Nations and India and for this right since October 27, 1947, one and a half million Kashmiris have sacrificed their lives. This is the reason why on October 27, not only Pakistan but also Azad Kashmir Millions of Kashmiris also celebrate this day as a black day.

According to the formula for the partition of India and the accession of states, the state of Jammu and Kashmir could be annexed only to Pakistan. Because the majority population of the state was Muslim. Geographical and linguistic relations of the inhabitants of the state were also similar to Pakistan. The biggest thing was that the All Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference, the representative party of the state’s Muslims, had demanded and reiterated the state’s accession to Pakistan.

The British and the Hindus were enemies of the Muslims and were already malicious in the case of Pakistan, so they decided to invade and occupy the state of Jammu and Kashmir to make Pakistan helpless and water-weakened. For this purpose Maharaja Hari Singh forged a false treaty of annexation of the state to India. Later, justifying this agreement, on October 27, 1947, in the dark of night, India entered its army into the state.

The fact is that Sikhs and extremist Hindus were brought from India with great malice to start killing and looting in Kashmir. According to an estimate, two lakh Muslims were martyred by these Hindu thugs in Jammu alone and the Muslims were killed by Hindu thugs from India. They were emigrating to Pakistan by saving their lives. Their caravans were also attacked.

The attackers were the followers of Gandhi Bahrupia, who was teaching peace to Dina, with a knife in his hand and a mouthful of ram ram if anyone attacked him. If you want to see a living example, then you should look at this history. It should have been an international commission of inquiry and the oppressors who had committed such a great crime in history should have been punished, but where is the justice in this world? All the oppressors are intermingled and it is their history to abuse the weak.

Pakistan is incomplete without Kashmir, people will continue to support Kashmiris politically, morally and diplomatically. Millions of Kashmiri children are becoming orphans due to Indian state terrorism, all international organizations including the international community should take notice of the shameful Indian plan to change the population ratio in Occupied Kashmir. It is being presented, and it is being decided to stand by them till death.

India has usurped the human rights of millions of Kashmiris and kept them under siege, so according to the resolutions of the United Nations and the Security Council, the right to self-determination is the fundamental right of the oppressed Kashmiris.
