LAHORE . The Election Commission (ECP) has issued notification of 5 reserved seats of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) for Punjab assembly.
According to the notification. Rafiq Babu and Samuel Yaqub have become the member of Punjab assembly on minority seats. .
On women reserve seats , Batool Janjua, Saira Raza and Fauzia Abbasi Nasim became member of the Punjab assembly.
PTI was demanding issuance of notification of its reserved seats ahead of by election in 20 constituencies of the Punjab assembly scheduled for July 17, 2022.
Issuance of notification of 5 reserves seats can be a great support for PTI to enter in the race for office of the chief minister Punjab
The elections of the chief minister office is going to be held on July 22, 2022. It would be a one on one competition between Chaudhary Pervez Elahi and Shahbaz Sharif in Punjab .
This contest is extremely important for both the parties , Pakistan Muslim League Q and Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz as it would decide the fate of future political game of the province .
PTI and PMLQ are using their maximum clout and influence to win majority seats in by election to win the race for the chief minister office and so is PMLN and Pakistan People Party (PPP).
After Eidul Azha , Punjab will turn into a political battle for deciding who will rule in Punjab till holding the new elections in the country.
PTI win in by -poll on July 17, 2022 can bring it back in the game and in that case it will be in dominating role in Pakistan’s future politics again.
PMLN and PPP know the importance of by -poll and would go extra milage to make sure that picks up more seats in by – poll to keep PTI and PMLN out of the race .
