KARACHI: Dec 7,2022: Gold rates in Pakistan on Wednesday jumped – up by Rs 500 to take per tola rates of 24 karat to 164000.
Likewise , the rates of 10 gram 24 kerat gold also jumped by Rs 370 to take its rates to Rs 140610.
The rates of 22 kerat gold were recorded at Rs 164050 and rates of 21 kerat were recorded at Rs 143500 per tola.
The city-wise gold rates recorded on Wednesday were as following .
Lahore : 24 kerat gold per tola Rs 164050: Islamabad , Rs 164000: Quetta , Rs 164200 and in Peshawar gold rates of 24 kerat were recorded at Rs 164150.
In Pakistan , Gold rates have jumped up by Rs 4890 in the last 15 days.
The gold rates of 24 karat in Pakistan on November 23 last stood at Rs 159110 and it jumped- up to Rs 164300 per tola on December 7, 2022.
In Pakistan, the rates of silver per tola on Wednesday has been recorded at Rs 1710 .
In international market , gold rates made handsome gain on December 7, 2022.
The gold in international market jumped to $ 1774.10 . It made gain of $2.80 in the last 24 hours.
Jamil Mughal of Mughal Jewelers in Rawalpindi in his remarks said the rates of gold in Pakistan are linked with the rates of dollar. During the last one week the increase in dollar rates was pushing gold rates up in Pakistan.
He believes the gold rates in Pakistan will continue to maintain upward trend in coming days.
