Islamabad: The Government has revised the petroleum product prices downward for the fortnight commencing from August 16, 2025, in line with the recommendations of the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) and the concerned Ministries. The revised prices (in Rs. per litre) are as follows:

The government revises petroleum product prices on the basis of changes in crude oil in the international market bi-monthly. Since , the prices of crude oil in the international market are showing downward trend, the government of Shahbaz Sharif reduced the rates of refined petroleum products for current fortnight accordingly. The reduced prices of petroleum products will remain effective till August 31. On the basis of the applicable formula for their review, the government will again make adjustment in the rates of the petroleum products on mid night on September 1,2025.
Since the government has cut down the prices of diesel and kerosin substantially , its ultimate impact will be on the inflation . The reduced petroleum product prices must bring some relief to price-hike stricken people of Pakistan .
