ISLAMABAD:The ministry of Religious Affairs has decided 500 cases of the Evacue Trust owned properties in one year.
.According to spokesman of the Hajj ministry, secretary Sardar Ejaz Khan Jaffar , heard and decided 500 cases of the Evacue Trust properties in one year.
Sardar Ejaz Khan Jaffar had taken over charge as secretary of Hajj ministry in June 2020. He held top prioirty to hear and decide the appeals filed by aggrieved parties against decisions into Evacue Trust cases.
The final decisions into 500 appeals of Evacue Trust Properties gave huge financial benefit of Rs 8 billion to national kitty besides retrieving over six thousands agriculture land and 350 shops, said a press handout issued by Hajj ministry spokesman, Omar Butt, on Wednesday.
The handout added the secretary Hajj ministry accorded top priority to the appealed filed by the complainants against the administrator and joint secretary level forums and decided 500 cases after hearing arguments of the concerned parties.
The secretary Hajj ministry has final power under Evacue Trust Act 1975 to decide the appeals of the aggrieved parties
