Riyadh: Saudi Arabia has announced certain categories having excellence in different areas like art, religion, medicines, sciences, culture, sports and technology to grant them nationality.
Custodians of two holy mosques, Salman Bin Abdul Aziz , issued a royal order to this effect here on November 11, 2021.
The grant of citizenship to these categories is a part of Saudi Arabia’s declared policy to promote the culture of gathering top quality brains and take benefit of their expertise to expedite its pace of progress. Saudi Arabia is also expanding its area of co-operation with the global community to make its Vision 2030 a reality.
Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is opening up its entire areas to become a competitive country in the world. Its opening up its economy to the world to allure foreign investment. Its also opening up its what was earlier called conservative society. For example it allowed considerable relaxations to its womenfolk like Saudi women have been given permission to drive vehicles, go to cinemas, travel to other places without male gaurdian etc. The objective behind all these steps is to get rid of an impression that Saudi Arabia is a society of fundamentalists. The new leadership of Saudi Arabia, Mohammad Bin Salman (MBS) is a moving brain behind the idea of transforming Saudi society from fundamentalist to a modern and progressive society.
The world community, in particular, the United State of America and Europe have welcomed the new Saudi aporoach of opening up its society and economy. Under the new approach, Saudi Arabia has launched a Vision 2030. The main objective and theme of Vision 2030 is to transform Saudi Arabia into a modern and progressive country. Crown prince Mohammad Bin Salman is personally monitoring implementation of Vision 2030.
