Islamabad : May 7,2024: After disposal of stay order against the president of Pakistan’s and Women Wafaqi Mohstasib’s orders , Islamabad High Court (IHC) has rejected the petition of the accused Registrar of Air University , Abdul Wahab Motla , for dismissal of plea against him in harassment case. Dismissal of petition filed by the Registrar Air University Abdul Wahab Motla , the accused is finally made to face the prosecution for his alleged involvement in harassment of a lady employee of the university. The lady employee of the Air University, whose name is not being quoted in the story as it’s not a policy of NEWSMAN, had accused , Abdul Wahab Motla , of using different mean tactics for blackmailing and harassing her to woo for immoral activities. According to the plea filed by the victim to the Women Wafaqi Mohstasib , the accused, Abdul Wahab Motla , initiated an inquiry against her and during the process of inquiry took out memory card of her phone to offload her personal photos and later made these personal photos viral on the social media. The lady knocked at the door of the Woman Wafaqi Mohstasib who initiated inquiry against the accused but meanwhile he used his influence and managed to get a stay order to stop proceedings against him in the case. The victim approached to the president of Pakistan for seeking justice in the case. The president ordered a formal inquiry to establish the facts . However , the accused again managed to get a court order to stop investigations against him . Abdul Wahab Motla’s case is a typical example of poor justice system of Pakistan. It shows how crooked like Abdul Wahab Motla manage to use the court to make the victims suffer and create an environment wherein the victims are made to face even more intimidation. The lady accused in this case remained determined to get justice and finally she managed to expose a wicked character who is holding a key position in an otherwise prestigious university of Pakistan. One wonders how a person facing serious allegations of harassment is still holding the office of the Registrar of Air University ?.
