ISLAMABAD : August 23, 2022 . Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) senior leader , Fawad Hussain Chaudhary, has ruled out any possibility of seeking apology by Imran Khan in contempt of court case .
Fawad Hussain Chaudhary told an anchor of a private TV channel on Tuesday night that Imran Khan will never apologise to the court rather he will contest the contempt case in the Islamabad High Court (IHC) .
A 3 -member bench of IHC is hearing a contempt case against Imran Khan for hurling threats to a lady session judge and senior officials of Islamabad police in.a public rally.
Fawad Hussain Chaudhary told the anchor that in case Imran Khan loses the case of contempt of court in IHC, he will use other options like going into review and Supreme Court of Pakistan (SCP) for relief.
Fawad Hussain Chaudhary claimed that Shahbaz Gill was tortured in CIA police station in Islamabad during the night after his arrest, but since he was blindfolded so could not identify those who tortured him. He also claimed that Imran Khan was not involved in any conspiracy whatsoever .
Fawad Hussain Chaudhary denied that PTI has any role in a malicious campaign launched at social media after army helicopter crash last month that took precious lives of 6 senior army officers including crops commander , general Sarfraz.
He also claimed that president Alvi may ask prime minister , Shahbaz Sharif, to take vote of confidence .
Meanwhile , Imran Khan, issued a statement on Tuesday and vowed to continue for what he calls “Real Azadi’. He declared that he did not bow down to any pressure in the past and would not succumb to it in the future .
