ISLAMABAD: Briefing the journalists in Islamabad on the decisions taken by the federal cabinet that met on Tuesday with prime minister Imran Khan, in the chair, Information minister, Fawad Hussain Chaudhary, said India was continously using Afghan soil against Pakistan and it resulted in terrorist activities in this country.
The minister said Pakistan has undeniable evidence of the use of Afghan soil by India for carrying out terrorist activities in the country.
He said “Pakistan is the worst victim of terrorism as a result of Indian strategy to make Afghanistan a base for carrying out terrorism in the country”.
India was running and operating different terror groups in connivence with Afghan intellegence ,,NDS..to carry out bombing and terrorist attacks in almost every city of Pakistan for the last 10 years at least.
Knowing the fact that Indian RAW and NDS were hands in gloves to destablise Pakistan through terrorist activities, Pakistan never spoke officially or publically on it till 2018.
Both Pakistan People Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PMLN ) goverments (PPP 2008-13 , PMLN 2013-18) did not speak at any local or international forum to expose Indian involvèment in Balochistan and other parts of the county. It was 2019 in Pakistan when Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) government for the first time raised the issue of Indian involvement in terror activities in Balochistan. Since then PTI is repeatedly exposing Indian involvement in Balochistan and urging upon the global community to stop India from carrying out terrorist activities in Pakistan.
Fawad Chaudhary also gave detailed view on Afghanistan issue during the briefing. He said India was playing a spoiler’s role in Afghanistan.
He said Pakistan as a responsible state was doing every possible effort to bring lasting peace in that war -torn country. He said Foreign minister, Shah Mahmood Qureshi, was embarking upon a 4- nation visit to brief the leaderahip of Iran Tajikistan, Uzbakistan and Kazkistan on Afghan situation.
The minister maintained that the federal cabinet approved electrol reforms agenda to ensure free and fair elections in the country in the future.
He said prime minister’s special assistant , Babar Awan, briefed the federal cabinet on electrol reforms. He also noted that the Foreign minister briefed the cabinet on Afghan issue.
The cabinet also approved appointment of Dr Ashfaq as new FBR chairman.
