Jahangir Khan Tareen, who is in London these days for his medical check up, can be a saviour or destroyer for the ruling party. Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI).
Prime minister, Imran Khan , has undoubtedly lost the confidence of his key political allies, but as a strategy , his political allies like Pakistan Muslim League (Q) , Muthida Qaumi Movement (MQM) and Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) are not declaring their distrust with the prime minister publically. They probably are assessing the fast changing political situation before taking any final decision. They can take a decision either way in support of the government or against it. However, Tareen factor holds the key to decide the political fate of Mr Imran Khan . Jahangir. Tareen:’s support can serve as a shield for Imran Khan to stay in power and repel the opposition’s carefully made plan to dethrown cricketer,-turned politician who defeated both major political parties and their like minded small parties such as Awami National Party (ANP) , Jamiat e Ulema Islam Fazal Ur Rehman in 2018 general elections from power..
Mr Tareen had been a major rather the only source of finance for PTI. Right from joining PTI in 2017, Jahangir Tareen remained financer of the PTI. It is an unrefuteable fact that Jahangir Tareen not only funded the PTI election campaign but also paid day to day expense of the party. For financial support to PTI, he was named after an ATM by the opposition . He was considered the most trust political aide to the prime minister. He was the man who put his resources at PTI disposal after. 2018 elections to win majority in Punjab to form PTI government in the largest province of Pakistan. Then one day the same man (Jahangir Khan Tareen) became a persona nongrata for his political boss. He was removed from all party offices. The closest partymen of the PTI started to work on a plan to create a situation wherein Jahangir Tareen should be forced to quit the party. A close party office bearer who is also relative of the prime minister executed Tareen expel plan. A sugar scam was made to discredit Tareen and justify his we expulsion from the party. The plan worked as its tailors and executors had full blessing of top party leader who knows how to use and throw out anyone after the use . Mr Tareen was made to face the cases . His son Ali Tareen also paid the price of losing trust of the party chief by his father . Both father and son were facing arrest at one stage. Jahangir Tareen somehow managed to foil attempts made for his and his son”s arrest. Meanwhile, Jahangir Khan Tareen was disqualified for life by the court. Since pushed to the wall , Jahangir Khan Tareen is fighting an unending fight for political survival . His like minded PTI parliamentarians helped Tareen keep fighting against his own party .
Now the same Jahangir Tareen has become a factor of survival for the PTI chief who damn cared for any one when he or she stands used .
But the question now is will Mr Tareen fall in trapped love for his so called political master ?
