ISLAMABAD: Jazz head office in Islamabad has been de-sealed and the telco has started its official work in its head office.
The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) had sealed the head office of Jazz (Mobilink) situated in F-8 sector following a default of the telco on its tax liabilities amounting to Rs 25.39.
Jazz spokesperson, Aisha Serwari, confirmed desealing of the company while talking to NEWSMAN by phone. She, however, added that Jazz of taxes was still unresolved.
“I can confirm de-sealing of Jazz head office but other thorny issues with tax authorities were yet to be resolved”, Aisha told NEWSMAN.
The Tax authorities had served a notice of non-payment to Jazz amounting to billions of rupees and in its follow up sealed the company head office here.
Jazz called FBR measure of sealing its head office coercive and moved the court for relief.
