JEDDAH: A special cake-cutting ceremony was organized in Jeddah to mark Pakistan Day by young business personalities Khalid Shahani and Turki Shahani, members of the Baloch Shahani community. Prominent social figure Ghulam Mahesar attended the event as the chief guest.
The ceremony was attended by prominent members of the Balochi and Sindhi communities, along with representatives of the Pakistani journalist fraternity.
Welcoming the guests, Khalid Shahani congratulated everyone on Pakistan’s Independence Day and expressed his deep love and strong attachment to Pakistan. He said overseas Pakistanis continue to remain emotionally connected with their homeland and take pride in contributing to its progress and prosperity.

Chief guest Ghulam Mahesar, in his address, said Pakistanis living abroad love their country from the bottom of their hearts. He noted that overseas Pakistanis always pray for Pakistan’s development, prosperity and stability and consider it their responsibility to play a positive role in the country’s betterment.
Chairman Pak Media Journalist Forum Chaudhry Noor-ul-Hassan Gujjar, senior journalist Khalid Cheema, Imtiaz Qureshi, Chaudhry Dilpazeer, social media activist Farah Zahid and other prominent personalities also congratulated the nation on Independence Day and expressed their best wishes for Pakistan’s peace, security, progress and prosperity.
The gathering also featured patriotic songs performed by renowned Pakistani singer Naeem Sindhi. His performances filled the atmosphere with patriotic spirit, while participants enthusiastically joined in the celebrations.
The event concluded with a cake-cutting ceremony and a special prayer for Pakistan’s security, stability, development and prosperity.
