ISLAMABAD: Jamaat e Islami (JI) senior leader and former member national assembly, Mian Mohmmad Aslam, has said all three major political parties have disappointed the masses besides damaging to the state by their bad governance and now it was JI only which could lead the country out of current mess.
“I have no doubt that three main political parties Pakistan People Party (PPP), Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz ( PMLN) and Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI), which have deceived the masses and ran their agenda of making money by illegal means and launder ill-gotton money out of Pakistan”, Mian Aslam asserted during an exclusive interview conducted by NEWSMAN and DAILY DANSIHWAR.
Ji leader said the people of Pakistan stand dejected from the existing system which in the name of democracy was being used to promote a culture of corruption in Pakistan. Mian Mohammad Aslam said JI consists of committed and honest leadership and it if given an opportunity can set the country on the right course. He said JI has proven its worth in every major natural disaster like earth quack and flooding and set a trend of serving the people of Pakistan with a mission and this is what is urgently needed to steer Pakistan out of current political mess. He said JI is also running a number of assistance programme out of Pakistan in particular in Afghanistan and other destinations to assist the people and pull them out of crisis.
In response to a question, Mian Mohammad Aslam, said Ji is not in favour of extension no matter it’s for the case of the army chief or any body else. He said the culture of extension was harmful for the sanctity of the institutions and at the same time it deprives the successors who, undoubtedly, have capacity and intelligence as good as those whose case comes under consideration for extension . Mian Mohammad Aslam is a prominent political leader of Ji and enjoys good repute in the party. Its generally believed he could be a candidate of his party for the local government elections to be held in Islamabad. When asked if he would be the candidate of JI for mayor Islamabad, Mian Mohammad Aslam avoided to give direct answer to this query, but showed his willingness to contest the election of the mayor Islamabad if JI decides to launch him for this contest. Mian Mohammad Aslam in response to another question said JI take each and every decision collectively. He reminded the role of Ji in the case of Baloch who stage protect in Balochistan for their rights. Regarding JI protest In Karachi against Sindh government’s local body ordinance, Mian Mohammad Aslam said “ jI believes in change in system as current Riba based system has failed to deliver for the good and it was high time for the people of Pakistan to support Ji and pose its confidence in it to induct a Riba free system in Pakistan”.
Mian Mohammad Aslam argued that Ji has a well versed team to help Pakistan switch over to Riba free Islamic system of government to help Pakistan get out of the on-going socio economic problems.
