ISLAMABAD : The opposition leader in the national assembly and Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PMLN) , Shahbaz Sharif, addressing a press conference along with other leaders of allied parties in opposition called the Supreme Court of Pakistan (SCP) judgment of April 3, 2022 as historic and a good news for all Pakistanis. He thanked the apex court for upholding the constitution and rule of law in Pakistan . He told a questioner that the opposition does not believe in political victimisation . Pakistan People Party (PPP,) chief , Bilawal Bhutto , said today’s decision is win of the rule of law and constitution . He said Shahbaz Sharif as prime minister would work hard to address the issues confronted with Pakistan. He said the opposition does not believe in jado tona . He said ” Jado , tona has fled from Pakistan.
Dr Khalid Maqbool of Muthida. Qaumi Movement (MQM) said the SCP’s decision is beginning of a good journey. He said the SC decision was win of 220 million people of Pakistan. He said the next government should take every possible step to address the serious issue like price hike and economic meltdown for immediate measures to give public some relief. Maulana Asad of Jamiat e Ulema Islam (Fazal) said the SC decision is of great importance and its win of Pakistan. Other party leaders of the opposition also spoke on the occasion .
