Islamabad : Feb 4 : Chairman Senate Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani said in his message on Kashmir Day being celebrated on February 5 for expressing solidarity with Kashmiris who are fighting for their freedom for decades. Mr Sinjrani said that all the political parties, institutions and the entire nation of Pakistan are of the same language on the Kashmir issue. Chairman Senate said that the Indian government has set the worst example of violation of human rights in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir by changing the special status of Occupied Kashmir on August 5, 2019.
He said that Indian brutality, oppression and human rights are increasing in Kashmir. India’s malicious face has been exposed all over the world due to the most serious abuses of India and voices are being raised on Indian illegal actions all over the world. The current government of India has not only inflicted atrocities on Kashmiris, but has also made it impossible for all the minorities living in India to live.
The time has come for the United Nations human rights organizations, democratic countries and organizations to take effective measures to resolve the Kashmir issue in accordance with the resolutions of the United Nations and the wishes of the Kashmiris. Mohammad Sadiq Sanjrani said that Kashmir is the aorta of Pakistan.
All the political parties of Pakistan have taken all possible steps for a peaceful solution to the Kashmir issue, but due to India’s stubbornness and fanaticism, the Kashmiri people have been making sacrifices for the sake of their freedom for the past seven decades. There is an urgent need to take more measures at the national and international levels for a fair solution to the Kashmir issue. He said that the people and institutions of Pakistan are standing by the side of Kashmiris in their struggle for freedom and no sacrifice will be spared until freedom is achieved.
Deputy Chairman Senate Mirza Muhammad Afridi also expressed solidarity with the people of Occupied Kashmir regarding February 5 and said that Pakistan’s position regarding the Kashmir issue is clear. India is involved in serious violations of human rights. He urged the United Nations to play its role.
