ISLAMABAD: Zahir Zakir, killer of Noor Maqadam , and 12 other accused, were indicted in henious murder case by the court in Islamabad on Thursday.
Other than Zahir Zakir, his parent Zakir Jaffar and his spouse, owner of rehablitation centre and 9 other accused, who helped the killer in committimg the crime, have been indicted in the murder case.
Zahir Zakir, son a Karachi -based businessman and one of the directors of Jaffar Brothers, had butchered Noor Maqadam in his house in a posh sector of Islamabad some three months ago. The kilker, Zahir Zakir, had invited Noor Maqadam to his house and later chopped -off her head after torturing her for hours in locked room of his house . The accused informed his parents on phone about his crime who were in Karachi on the day of murder. The parents of the accused immediately called to the owner of a local rehablitation centre to help their son by disposing off the dead body of the victim..Noor Maqadam.
Since, the killer is a cunning criminal, he chopped off head of the victim to dispose- off the deadbody and called the owner of the rehablitation centre for the help.
However, the police’s timely action thwarted the plan of the killer and his parents of disposing off deadbody of the victim. The police had nabbed the killer from the place of the crime. They later arrested Zakir Jaffar, his spouse and other accused for facilitating the killer in the crime.
The killer committed the most henious crime that had sent a wave of shock to the whole society. The killer tried to use his American nationality to stop the police from interogating him, but the police foiled his tricks and investigated the case without any pressure.
The court had summoned the witnesses for recording of their statements.
