Peshawar (Newsman): The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa governance has declared three days of mourning in response to the tragedy in Islamabad.
Speaker Babar Saleem Swati led the KP Assembly in an emergency session. For the activists who died in the Islamabad protest and those killed in the violence in the Kurram area, the parliamentarians offered their prayers.
Speaking at the meeting, Law Minister Aftab Alam stated that the PTI staged a peaceful protest from November 24 to November 27.

Aftab Alam said, “Our peaceful protest was attacked, and direct shots were fired at the province’s chief executive. We announce three days of mourning in the province.”
“Freedom of expression is guaranteed by Article 16 of the Constitution, but the government and institutions violated that right,” the speaker of the KP Assembly remarked during the session.
Even though PTI had the right to have a rally, the nonviolent demonstration was put down.
Citing the events that resulted in the formation of Bangladesh, he warned that history appears to be repeating itself.
Swati charged that institutions were using tear gas shelling and gunfire, going beyond the bounds of brutality.

He said, “Our workers are missing and their bodies are being covered up.” “No political power could escape from cruelty,” said the speaker, asking “where the country is headed?”
The KP chief minister and Imran Khan’s wife, Bushra Bibi, were targeted for murder, he added.
