LAHORE : April 8,2023: Lahore Arts Council (Alhamra) is a center of art, literature, and culture that has traveled for many decades, and today it is at a point that when it comes to the city of literature, Lahore, no one can forget this cradle of art and culture. To pay tribute to this institution of art, Executive Director Alhamra Muhammad Saleem Saghar visited the Alhamra Art Museum (Gaddafi Stadium) and saw and appreciated the works of famous artists displayed there.
On his visit, Muhammad Saleem Saghar said that Alhamra Art Museum is a historical place, and the field of painting plays a key role in beautifying society. For this reason, Alhamra Art Museum has provided this platform to connect the new generation of artists with the work of internationally renowned artists so that young artists can hone their skills on a global level by looking at Maestro’s artwork and taking guidance from their work.
Alhamra Art Museum has invited all the schools, colleges, and universities regularly to visit this magnificent place; the artworks displayed reflect thousand years old civilizations.
The museum is adorned with exceptional artworks, including Abdul Rahman Chughatai, Sadequain, Ustad Allah Bakhsh, Shakir Ali Shakir, Salima Hashmi, Ahmed, Colin David, Jamie Engineer, Merry Katrina, Kamil Khan, Mumtaz, Anna Molka Ahmed, Saeed Akhtar, Khalid Iqbal, Moin Najmi, Ghulam Rasool, Mehmood Butt, Mian Ijaz-Ul-Hassan.
“We are trying our best to take whatever steps to make the Alhamra Culture Complex the center of attention,” Saghar added.
Executive Director Alhamra Muhammad Saleem Saghar instructed the Culture Complex team to organize more art-related activities, talk shows, and workshops besides various exhibitions.
