ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PMLN) senior vice president, Mayram Nawaz, has tested positive for COVID-19 infection.
PMLN spokesperson, Maryam Aurangzeb, confirmed the party leader Maryam Nawaz’s positive test of COVID-19 in a press statement here on Wednesday, July 28, 2021.
Maryam Nawaz had run massive election campaign in Azad Jummu Kashmir and in some parts of the Punjab to convince the voters to vote for PMLN in the last AJK elections held on July 25, 2021.
Maryam Nawaz had spent about two weeks in AJK to run PMLN elections campaign effectively. During the campaign , she met a large of PMLN candidates, party workers and the people at large in her public gatherings at many places in AJK.
According to Maryam Aurangzeb, Maryam Nawaz has quarantined herself in her house in Lahore.
