Islamabad: Mashreq Bank is one of the top banks in the MENA area. It is growing its business in Pakistan and will open a new office soon.
On Thursday, in a meeting with Mashreq Bank’s leadership, Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb expressed the hope that the bank’s digital banking license will be approved quickly.
In addition to highlighting the economy’s performance over the previous 12 months, he expressed gratitude for the Bank’s extended collaboration with Pakistan.
During the recently finished IMF Extended Fund Facility (EFF), the Minister informed the Bank’s leadership about the measures that were committed to.
He stated that when the time is right, the government will access global capital markets.
