KARACHI : The Pakistan Tehreek- e – Insaf (PTI) on Saturday had a mammoth public rally at Bagh e Jinnah ground here.
Addressing the rally, PTI chairman and former prime minister, Imran Khan, said ” I have come to Karachi to speak with you on an international conspiracy hatched against my government. its a case of Pakistan and its future generations as the conspiracy was hatched against his government to deprive Pakistanis of their freedom” . He added that his life was not so important rather its your freedom which is dearer to me. Imran Khan noted that a Mir Jaffar ( Shahbaz Sharif ) has been installed to conspire against his government . He recalled that an international conspiracy was hatched against PTI government some three months ago. He alleged that the United States (US) diplomats held meetings with the opposition and some journalists to conspire against his government. He questioned yet another time as to why the courts were opened at mid night on April 7, 2022 . He enquired as if he was going to commit some criminal act to damage the state . He claimed that he was only politician who was declared Sadiq and Amin by the Supreme Court of Pakistan and then why the courts were opened against him at mid night. Imran Khan as usual hit the US in his speech and like many times before claimed that the US spear headed conspiracy against his government.He claimed that he knew a few months ago that the match has been fixed against him . He said the constitution does not allow horse trading and asked his followers to never forgive those who were involved in it. He said general Musharraf bowed down to the US on just one call and became a party to it’s war that not only one caused loss of billions of dollars to Pakistan , besides sacrificing 80,000 Jawan and civilians lives . He declared that being prime minister he would never think of pushing Pakistan in the war of others. The former prime minister claimed that the master mind of the conspiracy was sitting in London. He referred Nawaz Sharif without taking his name. He noted that those thieves who plundered Pakistan for 30 years have been brought back to rule and plunder Pakistan’s resources again. He claimed that ‘Mir Jaffar’ has got an order to do more. Imran Khan apprehended that a plan was being chalked out to disqualify his party in foreign funding case and demanded that foreign funding cases of all parties Pakistan People Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PMLN ) should be heard in one go . Imran Khan reiterated his demand of holding fair and free elections in the country.
Other PTI leaders Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Asad Umar, Imran Ismael, Ali Zaidi also addressed the public rally. Shaikh Rashid Ahmad also addressed the rally.
