ISLAMABAD: Maulana Tariq Jameel, Pakistan’s most popular religious scholar, has recovered from COVID -19 infection.
Tariq Jameel was admitted to Combind Military Hospital (CMH), Rawalpindi early this month when he was tested positive of corona infection.
Tariq Jameel was released from the hospital on Tuesday after having negative test of the corona virus.
Tariq Jameel is the most respected and non controversial religious scholar of Pakistan. He enjoys highest command on Islamic teachings. His following is unprecedented in the present times. He is considered as a moderate religious scholar of Pakistan. The young generation gives top priority to Tariq Jameel’s teachings.
In a statement, Tariq Jameel confirmed on Tuesday he has been discharged from hospital after recovering from the corona infection.
Pakistan is struggling against deadly second wave of COVID-19 these days. Its rising number of deaths is indicative of surge in corona infections.
