ISLAMABAD : May 17, 2023; More resignations of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) leaders are going to come in next 24 hours as Senator Saif Abro is likely to quit Imran Khan ‘s party over its politics of violence and confrontation with the military .
Senator Said Abro had become the member of upper house of parliament on PTI ticket from Sindh. He has serious concern over involvement of PTI in violence carried out by the party workers on May 9.
At least two other PTI members of Sindh assembly quit PTI on Wednesday.
Meanwhile , the police re-arrested at least three PTI leaders who had got relief from the court for their release.
The PTI leaders who were arrested soon after their release on the court orders included former federal minister , Shireen Mizari, former federal state minister, Ali Mohammad Khan and former MNA , Malika Bukhari.

As resentment grows among Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) over the politics of targeting the military installations, Amir Kayani, senior leader and former federal minister , has announced to quit the party and politics.
He announced parting ways with PTI at a press conference here on Wednesday.He said he can not be a part to the politics of anti military and target the army and its assets . Mr Amir Kayani said he did what ever he could as a party worker and now parting ways with it as it’s not possible for him to become a politics of violence .
Amir Kayani added that he will not join any party now on wards. He held Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) responsible of current crisis in Pakistan.

The Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) is in thither over its alleged attacks on military installations during its protest against arrest of its chairman Imran Khan as its central leadership is dragging feet from taking responsibility of violent protests held across Pakistan on May 9-10.
A number of PTI leaders are in total disarray over this development and they have started to public condemn the violence in recent party protest particularly attack on the house of Corp Commander Lahore.
PTI leader Mahmood Maulvi, had resigned as member national assembly (MNA) on Tuesday in protest against the party policy of indulging in violent protests and attacking military installations on May 9, 2023.
Many other PTI leaders are going to follow Mahmood Maulvi for parting ways from PTI and say goodby to the politics . PTI top leader, Fawad Chaudhary had publically condemned violence of May 9 and called these incidents as shameful. Fawad Chaudhary is facing arrest under Anti Terrorism Act (ATA) for being part to the party workers who were carried out violent protests on May 9.
Amir Kayani, a close aide to Imran Khan and senior party leader according to some media reports is likely to quit PTI over May 9 violence.
PTI had carried out violent attacks on public properties and meanwhile a group of the party workers had run over the house of corps commander Lahore.
PTI workers had attacked law enforcing agencies in Islamabad and many other cities . In Mianwali , PTI leaders and workers torched a number of state properties, government officials , court rooms and military asserts which were displayed at public places for remembering the achievements of Pakistan armed forces against India .
The government is continuing the arrest of PTI workers whose presence at the place of violence have been confirmed. The arrested PTI leadership is facing criminal cases under ATA . There is great possibility that the cases of those who have been found involved in attacks carried out at the house of Corp Commander Lahore and other military installations will be tried under the Army Act.
