LAHORE : Fearing losing the rule in parliament , prime minister Imran Khan, has begun to vehemently use religious card by citing Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) rally as “Nahi ul Munkar”. The prime minister is using every tactics calling today’s government rally at Parade ground a battle for Pakistan . Seeing it difficult to safeguard his rule , the PTI government is using official resources right from Azad Jammu Kashmir , Punjab and Khyber Pukhtunkhaw (KPK) to gather one million people at Parade ground in Islamabad and show to the real power brokers that he can go for public battle if de- throwned . Interestingly , not a single opposition leader is questioning the PTI government over the use of public money for PTI rallies and Jalsas’ . Perhaps, the opposition fears that its questioning to the prime minister for use of public funds for PTI public rally would create trouble for it when it comes in power . There is a culture of the use of public resources by the respective governments for their public rallies and ‘Jalsas’ .
Since its free for all to do politics at public resources , Imran Khan , is using this window like the past governments without any restriction . The prime minister hardly cares for the rule of law and fair play in politics . His repeated visits to KPK to address public rallies ahead of second phase of local bodies elections is its ample proof. He boldly violated the Election Commission of Pakistan’s warnings and went to address public rallies. Rather, proving his words with actions , prime minister Imran Khan has added element of disrespect and decency in Pakistan’s politics by using abusive language against his political opponents at public rallies . Not only use of derogatory language in politics, but he is also using the religious card relentlessly to stay in power . The government”s use of “Nahi ul Munkar” and “Amir Bil Maroof’s” slogans are enough to prove that Imran Khan is using religious card for politics . Probably, Imran Khan has reached to the conclusion that the people of Pakistan prefer use of religious card and hurling of abusive language over addressing of real issues confronted with them currently. The people who are under huge financial burden due to fast rising inflation and unemployment is madly rushing to Islamabad to participate in “Nahi ul Munkar and. Amir Bil Maroof”. The big gathering on the prime minister call of battle for Pakistan and its future generations will prove a absolutely that this Nation needs alluring slogans and not resolution of its serious issues like unemployment , price hike and above all fast surging debt of Pakistan .
Mr PM : battle for Pakistan or power ?
Use of religious card for politics dangerous act of govt
