Nawaz Sharif will never come back on his own: Fawad Ch

ISLAMABAD: Information minister, Fawad Hussain Chaudhary, on Tuesday said Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PMLN) supremo, Nawaz Sharif, will be brought back from London to face what he deserves as a convict in Pakistan. He claimed that the government has done most of its homework during the last two years for extradition of Nawaz Sharif from London.
During weekly cabinet briefing, the minister asserted Nawaz Sharif, who had left Pakistan in 2017 for treatment in London, will never come back on his own.
“Let me tell you PMLN supremo will be brought back by the government to face his cases in Pakistan. The minister argued that PMLN was creating confusion over Nawaz Sharif’s return to Pakistan , but I can claim on authority that he (Nawaz Sharif) will never come back unless he is brought back through government channel”. Fawad Chaudhary told a questioner. The questioner wanted to know the government’s stance on the possible return of Nawaz Sharif from London.
In a related development, federal minister for Education, Shafqat Mahmood, had told the media that let us see whose legs would tremble when Nawaz Sharif comes back from London. Shafqat Mahmood’s statement is of extraordinary importance as he is considered as a soft man in the ruling party.
With rumours of Naawz Sharif’s return to Pakistan, a debate has begun in the country that PMLN supremo was ready to face jail but determined to return home before next general elections. Ayaz Sadiq, a senior PMLN leader, had hinted at Nawaz Sharif’s return from London much before the next general elections.
Nawazz Sharif is in London since 2017. His departure had damaged Pakistan Tehrik Insaf (PTI) politics seriously. Since then, PTI leadership including prime minister, Imran Khan, is scolding its decision of permitting PMLN supremo to go to United Kingdom (UK) for treatment.
